In Dr. Sandra Gabelli’s Protein X-Ray Crystallography lab, I was responsible for modeling and creating new protein variants and testing their effectiveness in various environments both in silica and in vitro. I learned further wet-lab techniques and began working with complex and specialized computer softwares such as PyMol. These experiments were done in support of Dr. Bert Vogelstein’s cancer research.
